Choosing a domain name for your blog has always been a difficult task and nowadays with so many blogs available choosing a simple and easy to remember domain name has become quite a complicated task. A domain name is the main branding of the blog and your blog name should also match your domain name to make a standard commercially branded blog. Well, many of my blogger friends asked me for a tutorial on how to choose a domain name that perfectly matches a blog name so here I am writing a tutorial so that everyone can benefit from the tutorial.

How to choose a domain name for your blog?
Firstly you will need to decide a blog name that is easy to remember and perfectly matches your niche. The blog name should be with 8 to 9 letters as people can easily remember small names compared to large blog names. If you are writing a tech blog, you can make easy names like tech4life, hitech, favtech, and the list goes on but the problem with the tech blogs is that any and every name you select is taken by someone or the other. In fact, there are so many tech blogs that if you don't have something unique to offer then your blog gets added to the endless list of blogs that are trying their level best to remain in the competition but have a hard time getting a few thousand visitors a month.
Once you have decided on a name you need to ensure that the name satisfies the following three conditions.
- Your blog name fits in 8 to 9 characters.
- It is easy to remember and easy to spell.
- A domain name is available which matches the name of your blog.
In such cases, I mostly decide a name based on a simple trick. All you have to do is put your name in your blog name. For example, if your name is the daisy, then for a tech site you can easily name your blog techwithdaisy which will itself be a unique name and to get a domain if your name has more than 8 to 9 words you can just take the initials and create a domain name like twd.com and this creates a perfect combo of the blog name and a domain name.
The same can be done if you have a recipe blog and can't decide on a perfect name. All you have to do is just add your name with some name from your niche. Cookingwithdaisy will be a perfect blog name in this case and you can easily get a domain named cwd.com.
Well, hope you got the trick to achieve a perfect blog name and domain name. For more such easy tutorials subscribe to our blog.
