Yoast SEO plugin is the best SEO plugin for WordPress. A WordPress blog without Yoast SEO plugin is incomplete. Many people just don't install the plugin because they say it is complicated. I surely don't know what do they find so complicated in the plugin. Surely, setting up Yoast is a little difficult but it is no reason for not installing the plugin. Many people just lose a good SEO plugin to avoid complications. I have specially made this guide on how to set up Yoast SEO plugin for them.
After installing and activating the Yoast SEO plugin, go to SEO and click on General.
In General Click on Yoast SEO configuration wizard. IT will open a configuration wizard which
will guide you through Yoast SEO settings.
If your site is ready to be indexed by Google select A else select B and click on next.
On the next page select the type of your site. Generally, A blog is a right option but if you are not making a blog you can select any type you want and click on Next.
On this page, you will have to fill up all the information about your blog. Once information is filled click on next.
Here for first choice select Yes. If you don't want pages of your site to be indexed by search engines you can select No in the second choice.
If your site contains multiple users who post on your site then select Yes otherwise select No and click next.
Here is the tricky part. Enter your site name in the first box and press next. If you want your site to have any other separator other than the first one you can select the one you like and click on Next. Separate here is the one that will separate the post title and site name in your site URL.
Unless you want to subscribe to the newsletter via email, enter your mail in the box else you can just click on next.

You have successfully completed the Yoast SEO plugin configuration wizard but there is still one thing that is still left and that is breadcrumbs.
For enabling Breadcrumbs, click on SEO and go to search appearance. In search Appearance, select the Breadcrumbs tab and enable Breadcrumbs. Thats it. You can set breadcrumb settings as you please. Don't forget to save after enabling breadcrumbs.
