The first two were the easy part of travel blogging. Now comes the "complicated part". You have all the money required, set up a WordPress blog, completed all the SEO work of the WordPress blog, now what? Well doesn't the answer to that seems obvious? Travel. Yes, it is obvious but what to do with the WordPress blog. That's the tricky part. This is the business from where you will earn for your expenses. How? Well, make travel posts. (I am leaving out the part where you make social accounts and establish your brand because I have already covered it in Basic and Advanced blogging tutorials but I will explain some most important stuff again)
How to make a travel blog?
Now you have to make posts as you travel. What to write in the posts is something that requires some creativity. I will explain it to you by example as you will understand it better. Suppose on your first travel trip you travel to Goa (If you don't know, well it is the place where you come to make party life. The most preferred place in India for parties, beaches, clubs, SPAs, and food) you should make posts which relate to your travel and will provide customers some value like how to reach Goa in the shortest time possible, 10 awesome things to do in Goa, 10 awesome places to visit in Goa, how to make a budget-friendly Goa trip, best hotels to stay in Goa and the list is endless. You got the idea.
Now get a fan following. In fact, the whole point of travel blogging is to get an awesome fan following and then promote products and sell things to your fans. As I have mentioned in Basic blogging tutorial that by blogging you are establishing yourself as an authentic brand. You have to follow it here too. You have to make accounts on major social media sites and cultivate a huge fan following. Your WordPress blog will help you to do so. As you start getting traffic from search engines and word of mouth ( some of the travel bloggers advertise their posts to people for getting more exposure. Not a bad technique, in fact, I too will recommend it ) your fan following will improve.
Now, you have to be active on your social media accounts and keep your fans updated about all the places you travel, the food you eat and all the interesting things you do around the place. Thats it. Once you have a blog and write 5-10 posts on every place you visit and have a good social media following you have established yourself. One thing you should definately do is make sponsored features on various channels and blogs. Business Insider has interviewed many travel bloggers and continue to do so. You can how you featured on their site and other magazines.

They will credit money into your bank account. The money you get is huge and makes up for a major part of income but there is on the downfall. You can't entirely depend on promotions. There will be a time when you have promoted almost 7-8 products in a week and then you get no promotions for the next two months.
