How to enable system wide dark mode[Android 7+] [No Root Required]. Just download this simple app and you can have a system wide dark mode on your Android phone.

Dark mode in whatsapp is the feature for which many users have been waiting for but when it will officially be announced then it will only support Android 10 and upcoming versions of Android. If you don't have Android 10 then you won't be able to experience dark mode on Android. Here is a small trick that will enable system-wide dark mode on Whatsapp, Instagram, and all Google applications if you don't have MIUI 11 or Android 10.

How to enable dark mode on Whatsapp?

Method 1: For all users with Stock Android 10

In Stock Android 10, the system-wide dark mode option is already present. All you have to do is enable it.

Just Go to Settings and open Display settings.

Click on Accent and select Dark Mode.

Method 2: For all MIUI users

For all MIUI users, system-wide dark mode is already present if you are running on MIUI 11. Again you need to enable it.

Just go to Settings and Open Display settings.

Click on Dark Mode and select toggle dark mode on.

Method 3: For all Android 6.0+

For other users, you don't have a system-wide dark mode present on your phone, but interestingly an Android developer Julian Eggers developed an app that can enable dark mode on all Google apps and Instagram on your devices provided that you are running on the stock version of Android 6.0+ or on a near-stock version of Android.

You need to download Dark Mode from the play store on your Android phone and just toggle dark mode switch as shown in the photo below.

Whatsapp hasn't currently rolled out dark mode for Android devices. Dark mode for whatsapp will take time. I currently have a Whatsapp beta version which only has a black splash screen. Everything else is white.
