     Other times it's just a private app designed for specific devices which you are not allowed to install even though your device supports the app and has the minimum requirements required to support the app. Companies like Samsung and Sony do this. They put their official walkman app in Sony's case and Gallery app in Samsung's case and then only allow the Samsung users to download and install the app.

        In both the cases, there is only one solution to both problems. There are two methods to achieve the solution. We have given both the methods below. If the first method does not work for you, you can always try the second one.

Note: Both the methods require your phone to be rooted. If you don't know what is root then probably your phone is not rooted. If your phone is not rooted then following our rooting guide to root your phone.

You can also try this method if play store doesn't show some application on searching in your mobile but shows the same application on searching on another mobile.

How to remove device not supported error the in play store

Method 1

All you have to do is download this app.
Now install the app and run it. Once the app opens it will ask for root permission and after permission is granted you will see get assistant and restore button on the screen. Click on get assistant and confirm it. Now reboot.
You should be able to download the application which you couldn't download without any errors.
What this application does is that it changes the device name to the pixel, so that each and every app available on the app store is supported by your device.

 Method 2

This method basically follows the same concept but in a traditional way. Download a build.prop editor from here.
Now open the editor, grant root access to and change the following lines.
ro.semc.product.name=Pixel
Now all the apps in the play store will be supported by your device.
If you are trying to download a company specific app then you will have to change your device id according to the company which releases the app.

For Samsung apps use Samsung Galaxy S9 and for sony apps use Sony Xperia X as device id. This will allow you to download OEM specific applications from the play store.
